Do you bring a truck?
No, and that's the point. Extra Hands is a labor-only crew. You rent the truck, PODS, or container (or already have a transport company), and we do the packing, loading, unloading, and setup. You save by not paying for a truck twice.
How much does it cost?
$145 per hour for a two-person crew. Need more movers? Ask us for a custom quote. You'll get a written estimate with the full price before moving day.
What areas do you serve?

How many movers do I need?
Most studios and 1–2 bedroom apartments need 2 movers. Bigger homes, lots of stairs, or a tight timeline usually call for 3 or more. Tell us about your move and we'll recommend a crew size in your estimate.
Can you load a PODS, U-Haul, or other rental truck or container?
Yes, that's one of our most common jobs. We load trucks and portable containers tight and balanced so things don't shift on the road, and we can unload at the other end if you're staying in South Florida.
Do you bring packing supplies?
We bring moving blankets, dollies, straps, and tools. If you need boxes or packing materials, tell us when we talk and we'll cover it in your estimate.
How long will my move take?
It depends on how much stuff you have, how ready it is, and how far the truck is from the door. Your written estimate will give you a time range. Tip: having everything boxed and the truck parked close saves real money.
Are you licensed or registered?
Yes. Extrahands FL LLC is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) as an Intrastate Mover of Household Goods under Chapter 507, Florida Statutes: Fla. Mover Reg. No. IM150014, valid through 09/02/2028.
What don't you do?
We don't provide trucks. We also don't do appliance hookups (gas or water lines), electrical, or plumbing work, and we can't move hazardous materials like gas cans, propane, paint, or chemicals.
Should I tip the crew?
Tipping is never required, but it's always appreciated if the crew did a great job. Cold water on a hot Florida day goes a long way too.
